Hill Hill Carter is pleased to announce the addition of Tony LaMear as the firm’s Director of Operations and Chief Security Officer. Tony will be using his vast experience from working at Boeing, Anderson Consulting, and Drewry Simmons Vornehm, LLP to support HHC’s growth and ongoing dedication to the ever-evolving area of data security. “Tony’s extensive legal technology experience, professional and personal character, and law firm know-how will help Hill Hill Carter excel in operational management and data security,” commented David W. Henderson, Managing Shareholder of Hill Hill Carter. Along with his technology and administrative experience, Tony’s commitment to community involvement make him a perfect fit for Hill Hill Carter. He was a mentor for the Carmel High School robotics team in Carmel, Indiana which finished 12th in the world for the FIRST Robotics Competition. Continuing his efforts to help in the community,Tony is currently training to become a volunteer firefighter for the Pike Road fire department. Tony is married to Dr. Nancy LaMear, who is a Neonatologist at Montgomery’s three area hospitals. The LaMears have two children both attending college at the University of North Alabama in Huntsville.

Guest speaker for the Montgomery Capital Rotary Club on August 2 will be Duane Rankin. From the college football national title game to the NBA Finals and all points in between, Duane Rankin has covered the gambit of sports. Joining the Montgomery Advertiser in February 2013. Rankin is a sports columnist and videographer. He primarily reports on Alabama and Auburn football. The 2014 APSE Award winner for multimedia and four-time Alabama Press Association winner interviewed LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning and many others as well as covered Tennessee football, Clemson football and Penn State football prior to coming the Montgomery.

The Board of Bar Commissioners is the governing and policy-making body of the Alabama State Bar. Sefton practices in the areas of employment law, commercial litigation and banking law. He is also past President of the Montgomery County Bar Association and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
