May 27 - Millbrook City Council Meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 3900 Grandview Road. Work Session 5:30 p.m.

May 31 - Kids Journey Summer Program will hold an open house on May 31, from 10am - 2pm at the Sandtown School Campus 3180 Sandtown Road - Millbrook, AL. Registration for the Kids Journey Summer Program going on now. Registration hours are M-F 3pm - 530pm Sat 10am-Noon.

May 27 – August 26, 2014 The Millbrook Farmers Market will be held at it NEW TIME, Tuesday Morning 8:00 am – 12:00 noon at the Village Green Park. Growers from the region will gather each week offering fresh, locally produced fruits and vegetables. A variety of activities are planned in conjunction with the market, adding fun and interest each week. Look for recipes and other surprises from week to week. . June 2 – August 1 - Alabama Wildlife Federation Expedition Lanark Summer Day Camp: Expedition Lanark is a full day summer camp that provides hands-on, outdoor educational activities that teach natural resource stewardship, develop leadership skills, and build character. June 6 - The Legendary Florida Boys will return to Millbrook for an encore performance, one night only June 6, 2014 at 7:30 pm presented by the Millbrook Community Players, Inc. The Florida Boys return to the Millbrook stage to sing their legendary southern gospel with a mix of oldies. Tickets are $20.00 Reserved (Only a few reserved left) and $15.00 general admission. June 14 - Cops and Kids Day will be June 14, 2014, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Village Green Park. The Millbrook Police Department in joint efforts with the Millbrook Fire Department is hosting the annual Cops & Kids Day. This is a family day event designed to introduce children to Police Officers, Firemen, and other City Officials building a relationship of trust within our community. This event will be filled with lots of food, fun and games for everyone to enjoy. Please come out and bring your kids to this FUN FILLED FAMILY DAY event!

June 18 - The Alabama Retired State Employees Association (ARESA) will hold a meeting at 3pm at Trustmark Bank in Millbrook.

Through July 19 – Sign up now for the Millbrook Public Library Summer Reading Program. For readers 4 – 12 years of age. Weekly family movies/activities also available. Contact the Millbrook Public Library (334) 285-6688 for details.

The Millbrook Library Book Club invites all area readers to attend a book discussion group on the first Wednesday of each month. Meetings are usually held at 10:00am at the Millbrook Library although evening meetings are sometimes scheduled. Our meeting schedule is arranged to meet the needs of the attendees.
