The Millbrook Civitan Club is now officially 'outstanding.' The club was given the recognition as an "Outstanding New Club" during the Civitan International annual meeting in Denver, Colorado. The Millbrook club earned this distinction over all clubs formed internationally in 2011-2012.

The club's Past President Penny Nichols and President-Elect Jimmy Sutherland accepted the award on behalf of the club.
