The Millbrook Community Players hosted Pat Van Cor and the Memphis Showband last weekend during a tribute performance to the late Elvis Presley. The two-night show was a big hit with audiences at the Millbrook Theatre.
The concert was the first of a pair of special presentations by the Millbrook Community Players this month. The next event will be a reprise of the popular 'Frankly Scarlett, You're Dead' - Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre which will be held January 23, 24, 25, at 7:30 pm, with a matinee January 26 at 2pm. This show was very popular at the end of 2013 when the players performed it on the Harriott II Riverboat in Montgomery. This time around the performances will be held at the Millbrook Theatre (Former Robinson Springs Elementary School) 5720 Main Street, Millbrook. Nathan McLaney of Millbrook (pictured) was 18 when he disappeared in 2005. Recently his remains where forensically identified, but the family is no closer to knowning what happened to him.Read more...
