The Millbrook Community Players hosted Pat Van Cor and the Memphis Showband last weekend during a tribute performance to the late Elvis Presley. The two-night show was a big hit with audiences at the Millbrook Theatre.
The concert was the first of a pair of special presentations by the Millbrook Community Players this month. The next event will be a reprise of the popular 'Frankly Scarlett, You're Dead' - Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre which will be held January 23, 24, 25, at 7:30 pm, with a matinee January 26 at 2pm. This show was very popular at the end of 2013 when the players performed it on the Harriott II Riverboat in Montgomery.
