Millbrook's Jordan to dance at the Boston Ballet

Staying on her toes through the Summer

Taylor Jordan (pictured), a student at Stanhope Elmore High School has been dancing her whole life. She began taking dancing classes at age 4 and is regularly seen in productions of the Alabama Dance Theatrre. This summer Taylor will go to Boston for five weeks to take part in the Boston Ballet's summer dance program.

Taylor auditioned for and received a $3,000 scholarship to attend the school.

"I will be dancing six days a week at the Boston Ballet. This is very exciting for me," Jordan said.

Taylor just finished a special presentation by the Alabama Dance Theatre of "The Princess Stories" (pictured) at the Davis Theatre in Montgomery. The production is an abbreviated look at three famous princesses from "Aladdin," "Pocohontas," and "Swan Lake." Taylor played the Swan Queen in that production.
