The Mustangs scored four runs against Montgomery Academy in the sixth on a two-run single by Noah Eller (pictured), a hit batsman and an Eagles error.

Stanhope Elmore's baseball team whipped the Montgomery Academy with ease in the Armstrong Tournament last week in a game played at Paterson Field. The Mustangs defeated the Eagles 8-1.
Daniel Crews pitched extremely well for the Mustangs surrendering only 2 hits with over 4 innings of work.
The Mustangs went up for good in the second inning, scoring three runs on two singles.
Andrew Casey, Tyler Mathews, Mason Mollus and Matt Wickham also hit safely for the Mustangs.

Hello folk's. We had a quite a few upsets this past weekend, and I am sure more will come this week. I must admit, I was one of those who jumped on the Georgia bandwagon about the Bulldogs being such a good team. Well, maybe they are not that great but still a good team. Georgia, USC, Va. Tech and Louisville all lost. As expected Bama steamrolled over So. Miss and Auburn had the week off.Read more...
