Earlier this month the Millbrook Police Department fielded several complaints about possible illegal activity at the Royal Therapy Massage, which is located at 2306 Wall Street, in Millbrook. Upon completion of the initial investigation officers had probable cause to believe that illegal activities were in fact occurring at that location. A joint investigation involving the Millbrook Police Department and the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy was initiated. Upon completion of the subsequent investigation sufficient probable cause was found to exist that the business was not properly licensed and that acts of prostitution had been committed by employees of the business. Officers were able to obtain a search warrant and arrest warrants for two employees of the business. On June 12, 2014, Millbrook police officers executed a search warrant at the business, at which time two employees were placed under arrest for violations that occurred during the investigation.

Pyong S. Lee, an Asian female, 51 years old, was arrested on charges of Solicitation of Prostitution and Performing a Massage without a License.

Sok Sun Yun, an Asian female, 55 years old, was arrested on charges of Solicitation of Prostitution and Performing a Massage without a License.

Both individuals were arrested, processed and placed in the Elmore County Jail, where they remained under a total bond of $2000.00 each. Both individuals have since been released on bond pending their court date.

"We are pleased to announce these arrests. Although this business is located in an industrial area of our City, we have several businesses, as well as a church, that are in very close proximity to this location. This is certainly not the kind of business or activity that we want in the City of Millbrook, regardless of where it might be located. It is my intent to recommend to Mayor Al Kelley and our City Council that action is taken to revoke their business license. Any other businesses or individuals that may be engaged in similar activity and researching the possibility moving to Millbrook, should be on notice from this point; if your business is not legitimate and this kind of activity is found to be an occurrence, the Millbrook Police Department will conduct an investigation and if illegal activities are in fact being committed, we will take the necessary actions to stop those activities and hold those responsible accountable. We simply do not need this in our City," said Chief P.K. Johnson, Millbrook Police Department

This case remains under investigation. No additional information will be released at this time.
