If there was a single word to describe the unveiling of the new sanctuary at Millbrook First United Methodist Church, it was 'celebratory.'

The church members had much to celebrate, not the least of which is that the new sancutary was built out of need for more space, a direct result of the church's growth.

"We had over 500 in attendance, standing room only, including invited guests Mayor Al Kelley, Rep Joe Hubbard, former pastors June Jernigan, Dan Morris, Richard Wright, and Charles Walker," said Pastor Dr. Nathan Attwood.
