The 1958 9th grade graduating class from Robinson Springs School recently held a reunion at Billy and Jane Brooks home.
Class members attending were (L-R in photo back row): Loretta Brown (Truman) Ingram, Sandra Langston, Jean Rae Holliday (Carl) Cobb, Norma Sullivan (Gene) Jones, Jane Graff Brooks and Billy Brooks (front row) Elaine Jenkins (Cletis) Turner, Dorothy Wood Hudson, Diane Hicks (Carl) Lewis, Patricia Lumley (Bruce) Brewer.
Guests from other graduating classes were: Barbara Adams (Fred) Housechild, Gene (Velma) Gober, Tommy Sparks, Spencer D. (Harriet) Swan, Fales (Susan) Gober, Sherry Swan (Bill) Curtis, Syble Wood Farr, Ann Franklin Marashimo, Mary Hall Massey.

Students at Coosada Elementary School check out the new turf on their recess area made of recycled tires. The costly project ($38,000) was made possible thanks to a grant from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management’s Alabama Scrap Tire Fund.

Hello folks. Week #2 is behind us and we start to look forward to another fine weekend. What did we learn from week #2? Auburn has an almost unstoppable offense. Alabama's offense and defense looked much better than last week, but this was against a cup cake team. South Carolina, coming off a 3 TD loss to Texas A&M, almost walked the plank against the East Carolina Pirates, finally winning by only 10 points. South Carolina either has some major problems or they were way overrated. Also, one of my upsets came true as Ohio ST went down against Virginia. Let's take a look at this week's action.Read more...
