|Millbrook 5year old All Stars win Regional|

The Millbrook 5 year old All Star team took the Regional Championship in Chelsea and will be going to play for the State of Alabama Championship in Gardendale.
The team dropped only one game in the tournament and that was to Pell City. The Millbrook squad then breezed through the rest of the tournament with the following wins: Millbrook-26, Clanton-19; Millbrook-28, Chelsea-25; Millbrook-21, PellCity-11 and then won the final game 20-5 over Pell City.

Supreme Court Justice concerned about civics education

A few weeks ago Alabama Supreme Court Justice Jim Main (pictured right) spoke to students at the Jones School of Law at Faulkner University. In addition to reviewing the diversity of the Alabama Supreme Court, Main stressed the importance of civics education in our schools and the importance of promoting civics by the soon to be lawyers.Read more...
