Headley

Headley, Mr. William Laydell, age 82, a resident of Prattville, AL passed away at a local hospital on June 30, 2014. Memorial Services were held on Friday, July 4, 2014, 11 am, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, Prattville, AL with Minister Mack Townscend officiating. Survivors include, wife of 59 years, Mrs. Betty Headley of Prattville, AL; sons, Jerry Wade (Pam) Headley of Prattville, AL; Randy Laydell (Kim) Headley of Wetumpka, AL; David Lyle Headley of Prattville, AL; grandchildren, Randy Laydell Headley, Selena Carol Wiseman, Scott Laydell Headley, Christopher Wade Headley, Krystal Gayle Headley, William Martin Headley, Matthew Justin Headley, Rachael Renee Headley, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, AL arranging.

Rider

Rider, Lt. Rian Justin, age 34, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away on July 3, 2014. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 2 pm at Montgomery First United Methodist Church with Dr. Nathan Attwood and Dr. Jeremy Pridgeon officiating. Interment followed in Alabama Heritage Cemetery, Montgomery, AL. Lt. Rider was employed with the Montgomery Police Department, where he served as Commander of Special Investigations Bureau. Survivors include, parents, Chaplain, Colonel (Ret.) Paul G. and Jean Rider of Whitehouse, TX; sister, Cecilia Rider of Smyrna, GA; brother, Josh (Leslie) Rider of Wetumpka, AL; niece, Harley Rider, nephew, Sean Rider both of Wetumpka, AL; godmother, Linda Akers of Irving, TX; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be Cpl. P.J. Moore, Sgt. Mark Davis, Cpl. Joey Smith, Sgt. Andre Mitchell, Sgt. Garner Clark, Lt. Matt Mara, Capt. Al Wheeler, Maj. Bryan Jurkofsky. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to One Place Family Justice Center, 530 South Lawrence St., Montgomery, AL 36104. Family received friends on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 12 to 2 pm at the church. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, AL directing.
