Lowery, Mrs. Judy Rentz age 61 a resident of Deatsville, AL passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at UAB hospital. Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Naylor officiating. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery. She was a member of Coosada Baptist Church and former administrative assistant at Lucretia Cauthen Reality and also executive assistant II clerk for the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. She was preceded in death by her parents William Chason and Susie Bedell Rentz. She is survived by her husband of 27 years Jerry Lowery of Deatsville, AL, daughter Molly Lowery of Deatsville, AL and brother Jim Rentz (Patrice) of Bainbridge, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice in her memory. The family received friends on Thursday, July 31, 2014 for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Hanna, Mrs. Donna Delores Israel, a resident of Montgomery, AL, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother entered into the presence of the Lord on Monday, July 28, 2014. A celebration of her life was held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. from Frazer United Methodist Church with Rev. Neil Epler officiating. Inurnment followed at Frazer United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Marco Abraham and Marion White Israel. She was a longtime member of Frazer United Methodist Church and retired from Regions Bank. She is survived by her loving daughter Jamelle Oates (Johnny) of Deatsville, AL, grandsons Kaleb Israel Clarke (Whitney) of Prattville, AL, Stephen Oates of Wetumpka, AL and Ehren Oates of Millbrook, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Frazer United Methodist Church in her memory. The family received friends on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and also Friday, August 1, 2014 one hour prior to services at the church. Barr, Mr. Jerry Demone, passed away on the morning of July 31, 2014, in Montgomery at the age 65. He was born December 9, 1948 in Grove Hill, AL. He grew up in Selma, AL and spent 22 years in the US Air Force. He served in the Vietnam Conflict and was the recepient of the Purple Heart. He retired as a Senior Master Sargeant in 1990 and spent his time with his grandchildren and working in his wood shop. Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Gloria Parker Barr of Montgomery, AL; two children, Ronnie (Tia) Barr of Anniston, AL and daughter Thereassa (Ken) McDaniel of Tallassee, AL; six grandchildren Karl, Kyle, Katherine, Koen, Braxton and Donovan; sister-in-law, Marie (Terry) Cunningham and brother-in-law, Danny (Sara) Parker; two nieces, three nephews, three aunts, three uncles, and numerous cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, James Everette and Margaret Elizabeth (Jones) Barr from Selma, AL. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. from Chapel # 2 on Maxwell AFB with military honors. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth McDaniel, Karl McDaniel, Kyle McDaniel, Thomas Jones, John Cunningham, Steven Parker and Adrian Parker. Mr. Barr was laid to rest in New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, AL in a private service on Monday, August 4, 2014. Scott, Mr. Penn IV age 49, a resident of Montgomery, AL passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at his residence. The family received friends on Monday, August 4, 2014 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Brookside Funeral Home of Millbrook, AL directing. Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Penn Scott III and Charlotte Ann Campbell Hargrove, brother, Steve Shelton and sister, Donna Hargrove. He was a former fireman and he owned his own Custom Painting Co. He was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Leigh Ann Scott of Montgomery, AL, daughters; Taylor Ann Scott (Kyle Richards) of Wetumpka, AL, Kaysey Lynn Scott of Wetumpka, AL, granddaughter; Kylee Lynn Richards of Wetumpka, AL, sister; Morgan Griffith (Jonathan) of Virginia Beach,VA, step children; Jesse Duncan and Chase Duncan both of Montgomery, AL, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Dekens, Mr. Richard Emil, age 85, a resident of Coosada, AL passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Funeral services for Mr. Dekens will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from the chapel of Brookside Funeral Home with Pastor Gentry and Pastor Riemersma officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens with military honors. Mr. Dekens is the son of the late Emil and Margaret J. Frawley Dekens. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. He was a retired postal carrier with the USPS. He is survived by his sons Mike White (Tammy) of Coosada, AL, Leon White (Mary) of Wetumpka, AL, daughters Carol Askew of Prattville, AL, Caroline Kline of Naples, FL, Bonnie Lynch of VA, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Barnhardt, Mark Barnhardt, Casey Walker, Keith White, Nicholas White and Kevin Walker. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 9:30a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Melton, James, 64, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Mr. Melton was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Melton; his parents, Gerald and Peggy Melton. He is survived by his two sons, Nathan (Michael Kravanis) Melton and Aaron Edwin Melton; one sister, Barbara (Joe) Hernandez; and one brother, Douglas Melton. Foradori, Robert C., 72, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014. A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prattville with Father David Foradori officiating. Burial followed in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing. Mr. Foradori was preceded in death by one son, Robert C. Foradori Jr.; his parents, Alex and Frances Foradori; one sister, Mary Witz; two brothers, Virgil Foradori, Donald Foradori. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carole Foradori; four sons, Kevin (Melissa) Foradori, Jeff Foradori, Brian Foradori, Chad (Rhonda) Foradori; 12 grandchildren; two brothers, Harry (Dorris) Foradori, Alex Foradori; extended family members and many loyal friends.
