MGSL hosts tourney

  The Millbrook Girls Softball League hosted two pre-area tournaments over the weekend. The events were for 18 and under and 14 and under teams.
  The Millbrook 18 and under won its tournament with 3 consecutive victories, defeating a Prattville team to take the title.
  The Millbrook 14 and under  came from behind and won its tournament also. Both teams will go to Columbiana to play in the NSA area tournament this week.
  According to league officials, the tournament brought approximately 300 fans to the ball park, the majority of which came from out of town.
