Millbrook’s Post 133 played to an equal record last week, all against senior American Legion teams in the Gary Bernath Invitational tournament in Ozark.
Errors cost Post 133 in its two losing outings to Ozark and Opp.
Hunter Gayle remained undefeated on the mound for Post 133 and won the third game of the week.
Gayle went 6 strong innings in the 4-3 win over Opp. The hitting attack was led by Kyle Granger, Cody Naylor, Shane Owens and Hunter Gross, who had a clutch RBI single to tie the game late.
Daniel Lackey turned in a strong pitching performance and added a pair of hits in the 13-3 victory over the Wiregrass Cardinals. Kejuan Riley and Granger each had 2 big hits.
Post 133 now stands at 10-3 for the season and will hold its season home opener this Friday night at 6:00 pm at Stanhope Elmore High school.
